How to... (FAQ)

To get a new student ID, visit the Information Desk in the University Center or fill out the request form online. Graduate students are advised to visit or contact the Information Desk at 319-363-1323 or infodesk@365dafa6.com to submit an ID photo.

Lost or damaged student IDs must be reissued and $15. Since ID cards are connected to student accounts for funding and building access, we ask that you report lost ID cards to be deactivated as soon as possible. Deactivated IDs cannot be reactivated and must be reissued.

The Information Desk also stores lost and found items for up to 30 days. Make sure to check if your card has been reported there.

To apply for a parking permit/appeal a citation, visit PermitSales and follow the instructions. Make sure you have the following information:

  • Student ID number and driver's license number
  • Vehicle make, model, color, and year
  • License plate number and state
  • Registered owner information
Once ordered, visit the Information Desk to pick up your permit.

Students who have purchased or rented textbooks from SlingShot may pick them up at the campus bookstore located near the Regina Hall entrance. You will be notified when your purchases arrive via your university email.
